Giant Sequoias are located on the western side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in California. The General Sherman tree in Sequoia National Park is the largest known living tree in the world by volume. It is 275’ tall with a 25’ diameter trunk, and an estimated mass of 2,100 tons.
